Term 4 Athletics Day
Last friday Glen Taylor School had its Term 4 athletics day. We had perfect weather as well as amazing teachers and student leaders helping out and running the stations. I hope we can do it again next year. The events we had were long jump, high jump, discus, shot put, sprints and relays. The Team Koru students did their own set of activities like egg and spoon races, obstacle courses and three legged races. Overall everyone enjoyed it and had fun.

Island Breeze #Amazing
Today Glen Taylor School were super lucky to have Island Breeze performance group perform and entertain us as part of their world tour. it was an amazing experince with them sharing their passion culture and enjoyment into the students and teachers at Glen Taylor. They shared that every one is somebody and unique
Differnt types of Number s
today we were revising the differnt types of numbers. The diagram on the left is a diagram about what the numbers are in their represntitive groups. My favourite is the intages because they are negitive numbers rather than postives
Week 2 Monday Maths
This week we are learning about probability. This game is called blocko where we use blocks to play.
Step 1: Collect 11 blocks to use they can be any colour.
Step 2: Get someone to roll a dice so you can get your numbers.
Step 3: Place your blocks any where along your table they can be in any amount in each coloum
Step 4: The person who is rolling the dice will call out the number on the dice if you have a block in a coloum then you take it out only one block at a time first person to get rid of all their blocks wins
It was super fun and I came second once which is really good. It was filled with suspence hoping that you will win
Future Options
today for maths we were working with teacher. Where we had a refresher on out to make and read graphs with differnt sets of data. We had to do four differnt graphs so all of them were more eye catching to people wanting to get infomation. the task was about future options for people wanting to go and start working these are the types of jobs these people want to get.
My Prototec Score
Today we did our first maths session of the term my group were doing prototec which is a online basic facts and fractions
it was really fun and intresting to learn about how much we know and how much we don’t my highest score was 92% right and 8% wrong which is my best score ever. I can not wait to do it again tomorrow. My goal is to get 100% so i will keep trying. : )
